Helping Each Child Reach Their Potential
Bay Area Speech and Language Services is a full service specialty care clinic located in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area. Emphasizing quality care and a team approach to treatment, we work closely with parents, caregivers, physicians and teachers to achieve a consistent and balanced approach. We are driven to help every patient achieve their fullest potential.
We provide evaluation and treatment of children and young adults.
At this time when the news is dominated by COVID-19, I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure your safety.
We are closely monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control regarding the spread of the virus. Our focus is to ensure we meet our client's needs while doing our part to keep our employees and our communities safe.
Here’s what we’re doing:
We have moved all sessions to remote video conferencing using Zoom software until further notice. The software download page is located here (https://zoom.us/download). Please reach out if you have any questions.
After we begin in clinic sessions again, please be reassured that we have enhanced the already thorough techniques used to clean our facility after each and every client with recommended sanitizing products. In particular, we are paying special attention to interior customer touch points such as seats, door handles and other hard surfaces.
In addition, we are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our employees. This includes instructing employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers. We are also urging all employees to be vigilant about frequent hand washing.
We have placed the CDC recommended hand sanitizers around the facility.
We are asking all clients to maintain the CDC recommended social distancing measures
We will get through this together! Our remote sessions are working wonderfully. We encourage everyone to reach out with any questions and we sincerely hope for the very best outcomes for all those effected.
